If travelling from Ireland the easiest option may be to get a connecting flight with EasyJet from London Stansted. There are plenty of domestic connections available from the airport with Air Europa flying to Majorca Airport, Tenerife South, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura while Iberia fly to Madrid, Alicante, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville and Malaga. Spanair and Vueling also offer a Barcelona route.

Taxi services are available from the airport with a trip into Oviedo costing forty five euro. Aviles will cost about twenty euro and Gijon will set you back about forty euro.  There is no train service available at the airport however buses are available at reasonable rates with a return ticket to Oviedo costing €11.30.
