Alicante is situated on the Mediterranean coast in the Costa Blanca and is the 2nd biggest town in the Valencia area. The castle towers over the city and offers a great vantage point for tourists wishing to get a good view of Costa Brava.

This is well worth a look as it is a truly unique way of travelling. During the summer months you can catch some concerts in the gardens of the castle. These concerts are normally free of charge.
